Leslie was a loving mother who would do anything for her children. She would give a helping hand to family, friends and even strangers without a second thought. She was active in her community. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society. She enjoyed attending church and volunteering for various charities, especially involving animals, being an animal lover. She has had cats, dogs, chickens and horses among her pets. She loved all creatures and would bring them home, given the chance. Attending and working at AZ Diamondback games, Nascar and assorted festivals were also some of her favorite pastimes. She loved nature and spent her free time exploring new places and kayaking at the lake with friends. She appreciated all of the little things in life, always offering a smile. If you met her you easily became one of her friends. She will be missed more than words can express. She is survived by her daughter Cherrie Dolk, sons Neal and Jason Dolk, brother Larry Fortney, sister Sharon Fortney and 4 grandchildren. Family, friends, acquaintances are invited to attend her memorial April 17th at Diamond Canyon School, 40004 N. Liberty Bell Way, Anthem. Church services start at 10:30. Leslie's Celebration of Life will begin afterwards at 11:45 am with Minister Tom Riley officiating.
