Some images in a lifetime of memories never are forgotten. Jerry gave me one of those. It was a Christmas Day morning, in front of Jerry's house. He was standing out front wearing a pair of Christmas boxer shorts, no shirt, a Santa hat and holding a can of beer. Ho ho ho. Thanks for the memory, Jerry!

My father in law, we had so little time to get to know each other yet in that time we found we were kindred spirits. I was selfishly looking forward to more time with you. For you to be with your daughter and your grandchildren. But what I realize now, I am truly more jealous than selfish. You walk with the Army of Angels in Heaven. I look forward to serving with you soon.

Semper Fi Dad.

Jerry was a great man, He love his kids and grandkids. He always helped people in time of need. He made many people smile. I really miss you Jerry, You will be in my heart and thoughts.
To his family: My heart is reaching out to you,
For what you’re going through;
I’m thinking of you frequently
And praying for you, too.
If there’s something I can do,
Anything at all,
Think of me thinking of you,
And don’t hesitate to call.

I love you all,
Tammy
