Ellen Brown Obituary
Ellen Valgene "Val" Brown, 87, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away April 6, 2011. Val was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania on February 3, 1924. She married James M. Brown on March 4, 1961 and very shortly thereafter they moved to Phoenix, where they lived in the same area for 50 years and in the same house for 49 of those years. Val worked in Pennsylvania for Pittsburgh Plate Glass for 15 years and then later in Phoenix she worked for TGK-McCarthy for 23 years. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jim, two-step-children and their spouses, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a favorite cousin, Gwen Roach, of Jacksonville, FL. No services are planned at this time.
