Mr. Chirch was a great man and a good friend to my grandfather. When I was little and staying with my grandparents, they would tell me it was time to go to dinner with the Chirch's. We went to dinner and I said " Well, When do we get to go sing all the songs since we are at church?!" I was too little to know the difference but it made everyone laugh. I am blessed to have known him and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Charles,
I am so grateful to have known you over the last couple of years.
As well as to see the ultimate caring and concern each time I saw you at the group home before my dad passed away.
I will never ever forget your inspiration to all that were fortunate to have known it.
I feel blessed. And I know that my dad, Roy, was there to welcome you in heaven.
I miss you always,
Donna & Addie

Dear Maria and Family,
I was saddened to hear that Uncle Charlie as passed. He was such a great man! He gave the biggest hugs ever. Everyone who knew him will miss him greatly. My fondest memory of Uncle Charlie is seeing him at the Maria SS. Lauretana Society functions and talking over ideas with him. Election time, was never the same after he stop coming to the general meeting. He brought such great moral and unity to everyone present. His love for the Blessed Mother was remarkable and touching is ways that brought tears to my eyes. The old, mixed with the new way is what he would say. He loved everyone and respected everyone for who they are. I know that I will see him some day, and he will give me that big hug again and tell me he loves me.
My prayers and thought are with you Marie. Try to stay strong and may his memories carry you though this sorrowful time. My heart aches for you. I’m truly sorry for your loss.
With love,
Sarah Accardi

Dear Marie & family:
I was very saddened to learn of Chuck's passing, but I'm grateful I had the opportunity to meet him at one of the JASCO reunions. He was a man of great character, compassion and empathy for others, truly a stellar example of "the Greatest Generation." My dad, Ralph Marshall Brown, who died in 1987, used to speak so highly of Chuck. My dad helped produce the JASCO newsletter.
Again, my condolences to you and your family on your loss.
Very best wishes, Nick Brown, Greensboro, N.C.
