Henry was one of my best friends growing up on Humboldt Blvd. in Chicago, and I was saddened to read about his passing. I just retrieved our grammar school pictures, and there he was, always with a super smiley face.
That is how I want to remember Henry.

Hank was a true friend and honorable man. One who never failed to complete his job and maintain a smile no matter. How Hank always managed a smile through what had to be some very trying times is beyond me, but I'd never question a man with that ability. It was a privilege to have known Hank for the past 3 years. Our deepest sympathies to his family at this time. Greg & Debra Onken Scottsdale, AZ

My heartfelt sympathy to Hank's family. My family used to call him "The bagel guy". Hank knew about my companion's fight last year with the Big C. He encouraged me about winning just a little everyday. He was very fortunate having such a strong and supportive family by his side. He was very special and we'll miss him.

Dear Sharlan and all of Hank's family,
Hank was a wonderful human being. He was always willing and anxious to help anyone that was in need. He often thought of others before himself. He enjoyed making people happy-especially his beloved Sharlan.
We will miss Hank. All who knew him will miss him, greatly!
Love,
Nancy and Tony
