I first met Elaine in 1960, when Margie and I became best friends. Elmer and Elaine were like my second parents. I have many wonderful memories from those days. Elaine's kitchen always smelled of cookies and I loved to watch her paint and sew. She was very talented at both. I loved her and all of you! I will pray for God's comfort during this sad time. Margie, Denise and Roger,
I was so fortunate to be associated with Elaine. She was our family mentor, and I admired and loved her for many years.

Margie, Roger, Denise and family member,

My heart goes out to you in this difficult time but I know Elaine would want all of us to celebrate the wonderful moments of her life and for us to be glad that she has eternal life though Him.

I have fond memories of events shared with your family over the last 35+ years since I met Margie in graduate school. Like my Mother, Elaine was an outspoken woman who loved what life had to offer-whether it was her painting, fishing or years devoted to her husband and family. Even now it makes me laugh at the remarks she made during the most recent years! She was fun to be around and will be sorely missed at future family dinners!

Marge,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I always enjoyed having your mom over to my house when we got together for the holidays and other events. She would always share her stories of Nebraska and her days at Motorola and she always had a smile on her face.

At dinner time, I will always remember her car parked in front of your house. I know she enjoyed the many nights having dinner with your family.

I hope the memories will lighten the grief.

I have fond memories of Elaine at all the family get togethers. She was always smiling and loved to laugh and she always told me I was such a well behaved little girl when I was little. She will be missed. Our prayers are with all the family.
