Jack Brock Obituary

Brock, Jack Duncan
71, of Phoenix passed away on March 9, 2011. Jack was born in Yonkers, New York in 1940 and moved to Phoenix in 1956, with his mother Anne Brock. He attended Heard Elementary and was graduated from The Architectural Drafting and Design Program at Phoenix Union High School. In 1969, he moved to Paradise Valley. That same year, he opened J. Duncan Brock Builders, which was located on East Indian School Road until his passing. Jack served as Councilman and Mayor of Paradise Valley. He was also a founder of the Arizona Better Business Bureau, was President of The National Association of the Remodeling Industry and was President of the Model A Club. Jack was predeceased by his youngest son Justin and is survived by two sons James and Jason and his three ex-wives, Linda, Cathy and Diane. A memorial service will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church Chapel at 1605 W. Indian School Road, Phoenix on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at High Noon. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Justa Center, 1001 W. Jefferson, Phoenix, Arizona 85007, a local agency dedicated to helping homeless seniors.
