Monica Paul Obituary
34, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on April 9, 2011. Monica was born in Phoenix, AZ to Mel and Maxine Paul. She graduated from St. Mary's High School and ASU. Because of her caring and compassion for others she enjoyed her work in the Behavior Health field. She is survived by Andrew Marlar and their son Liam, her parents Mel and Maxine and her Grandfather John B. Paul, many aunts and uncles and cousins. Visitiation will be Thursday the 14th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a prayer service from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Northwest Mortuary 4033 N 19 Ave, Phoenix. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday the 15th at 10:00 am at St. Gregory's Church 3424 N 18th Ave Phoenix. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Gregory's Adopt A Student or St, Gregory's St. Vincent de Paul at the above address.

Such happy memories I have of Monica and Jamie when they were at Mrs. Brady's all those many years ago. She was always smiling and always had that twinkling glint in her eye! To the Paul and Marlar families,
There are no words of mine that could possibly lessen the grief and loss that both families feel at this trying time. I have held the Paul and Marlar families closely to my heart with thoughts and prayers during this time. Our deepest sympathies go out to the Paul family. I grew up with Monica, having gone to school with her at st. Greg's and St. Mary's. We played soccer together, too, with Maxine always acting as our team mom. May everyone's love ans support help you through this.

Monica's sweet, sweet spirit was always apparent. She had such a memorable laugh and beautiful shining eyes. My deepest sympathy to her family; how wonderful that she left a legacy in Liam. Heaven has another beautiful angel.

My heart and my prayers go out to all the family and friends of Monica. I looked at my desk calendar today to see what scripture was written on it the day she passed away.. This is what it said:
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
May God's love, protection, and strength be with all of Monica's friends and family at this time and always..

I was shocked when I heard about this. I enjoyed working with Monica overnight. She always had a way of making me feel better and making me smile when I was not having a good day. You will be missed.
