Tamara was a beauty. Elegant as a swan with perfect poise, bone structure and posture, piercing blue eyes as big as the moon. Her skin was flawless and as smooth as porcelin.

She was a fearless horsewoman and had the most spirited steeds eating out of her hand. She commanded respect from her horses and they gladly followed her lead. She fed them the best food twice a day right on time. She loved dogs just the same and religiously walked with me and my two dogs daily for many years.

Tamara loved to talk about food!! She always went into great detail about the Vegetarian creations she would patiently prepare with the finest Organic ingredients. She even prepared home cooked creations for her dogs picture perfect that could have appeared the cover of "Bon Appetit!"

When she worked in the artworld, she looked buyers right in the eye and knew how to close a deal with class and professionalism.

When she found out she had cancer, she didn't dwell on this horrific blow. She rose above it and fought this disease with fearless determination. Her bravery moved me. She would not give in and did not feel sorry for herself.

There isn't a day that goes by that I am not reminded about the 20 years that Tamara was a part of my life. I miss the daily phone calls and sitting on her private balcony gazing at the beautiful mountain preserve and never running out of things to say. I loved her and considered her to be a dear friend. I miss her tremenously.

I am saddened that Tamara's life ended way too soon, but hope she is jumping horses over the clouds and walking dogs in heaven.

I only had the priviledge of knowing Tamara for about a year and a half, but she made a difference in my life. I admired her tenacity, spirit, and knowledge. She will not be forgotten and will remain in my heart forever. I will miss her greatly but know that she is in a better place and without pain. One day I will see her again and we will dance for joy together. I love you my dear Tamara!

Tamara was the principal sales associate in our art gallery for the last several professional years of her life. She was a faithful friend in good and not so good times. We last saw Tamara just before Christmas when she filled the gallery with her larger-than-life presence. She still looked like a million dollars - always did. Tamara taught us all a lot about human nature - especially as related to sales at which she was an unrivaled expert.
All of us at the gallery were amazed at Tamara's pluck in ignoring the malady and pressing on regardless with life. Her last day with us was just after Thanksgiving 2010 - she worked hard in business until her body was just too frail to sustain the struggle any longer.
Tamara was very kindly to DeeAn, our employees and me, and gained a reputation as a tour-de-force among the buying public and the artists, all of whom respected and admired her greatly. There never was a better closer.
We all miss our beloved Tamara - what a good woman. Tamara was a philanthropist at heart and helped people out. The world is a better place for her having lived in it.
