Deb I love you. For who you are to your family. The way you raised Joshua. I know you are the reason he is who he is today and I'll forever be grateful to you for that. You kept your family close while you were with us and you've made us even closer with your passing. It's amazing how many lives you've touched and continue to touch. You are and will always be remembered as the one that helped us all to laugh, love, and live without limitation. Until we're with you again, I love you. Your Daughter -Rebekah

Last but not least, Deb, where to begin? I have to say that we had some fun times together! I thank you for that! I remember the time we went to do those Glam Photo's & because it was a covert operation, I got in trouble because the old man thought I was out running around with you! Then turns out it was a gift to him! This last week your passing has made me think a lot & I'm so sorry we were estranged! All of the comments about your singing & that puts a big smile on my face:)
All the kids had nick-names & I still call my son the one you gave him...I'll bet your leading the choir up there & keeping things on the up!
To all of your family, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely, Lisa Denney

Mom, words cant express what I am thinking right now. I know that we are closer now than ever. I love you and have loved you more than anything I could imagine. I wish I can say we were prepared for this and that everything will be ok. But we are taking one day at a time and I promise you we will be ok and grow stronger thinking of you every day. I will always be your “mommy's man”, and you will continue on as the angel on my back.

I don't even know where to start or what to say, and how you have touched my life in so many ways. Your sense of humor, your laughter, and your smile. I just hope that you knew how much you meant to me, and how much I loved you, and how much you touched me. My fondest memories are of times in high school, during home ec and how you would always make me be your partner. I just wish for your family and for Joe much love and peace. Love Sally

4/16/11 Debbie had a wonderful spirit, full of love and life. We had some fun times after high school. Even after we got evicted from our apartment! Now we have lost two members of How-Han-Mon-Ken.

Singer/Song Writer......so very understated! I will miss you Debra, and think of you often. Over 20 years of fun, laughter and, of course, music, but most cherished, friendship. Love from Sooon

I miss you Deb. I'll never forget the many songs that you made up about everybody, or the concerts that you helped organize when your Mom and I came home late. Love to all of your family. I will always think of you when I eat a Roake's Coney dog or a Burgerville Hamburger. If there is anything that we can do let us know. Love you all

So sad to hear of Debbie's passing. Couldn't help but notice how everyone mentions her laugh and her singing. I still crack up remembering her versions of Leo Sayers 'When I Need You' and 'Sad Eyes' and who could forget her rendition of David Soul's 'Don't Give Up On Us'? Thanks for the memories, Debbie. I love you and some day I will catch up with you. To hear you laugh again will be absolutely glorious...

To all of our Family and Deb’s Friends, I am really sad that we can't make it down for the Celebration of Deb’s Life. Debbie is truly a life to celebrate, as she touched so many people with her love, humor, and songs.
Each of us has our special memories or moments of Debbie that we will cherish forever. Debbie’s spirit and legacy will live on in each of us, as you couldn’t know Debbie and not have had her touch your life. Her love and laughter was contagious. She always had a special song and nickname for everyone that they will cherish. Debbie may physically be gone but she will NEVER be forgotten and her spirit will live on until we all meet again. Rest Peacefully my dear cousin...your pain is all gone.

You weren't just my mom you were also my best friend. I'm just sad it took us so many years to get to that point. I know you are no longer suffering but it's hard knowing that I can't just call and hear your voice or stop by the house and put my arms around you. I love you so much! Life down here just isn't the same without you here. We said your probably sitting at a slot machine doubling your money with grandpa. We have nothing but amazing memories of you. Words can't describe how much I miss you but I know when it's my time I won't be afraid because you will be waiting for me. In the mean time we have an amazing family because of you and we will stick together forever. I love you forever and always! RIP my beautiful MOM!
