Mildred Goble Obituary

Goble, Mildred Jean
Mildred Jean Goble of Sun City West, Arizona was called home to heaven on April 12, 2011 at the age of 86. She was born in New Philadelphia, Ohio on July 1, 1924. She attended Olivet Nazarene University where she received her teaching degree in 1946. Shortly after, Jean married Donald William Goble in 1949 and settled in Munster, Indiana. Jean also taught in the Munster area for over twenty years before retiring with her loving husband to Sun City West, Arizona in 1982. While in Arizona, Jean was an active member at Glendale Church of the Nazarene, and volunteered at the Sun City West Sheriff's Posse and Boswell Hospital. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Mary Strahl; brother, John Strahl; and sister, Ruth Pieffer. She is survived by her husband, Donald Goble; son, Ronald Goble (Donna); sister, Clarice Brady; granddaughters, Nicole Bradeen (Aaron) and Christy Simon (Chris); and four great grandsons, Jacob, Nicholas, Austin, and Eric. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Glendale Nazarene Church, 5902 W. Cactus Road, Glendale, AZ.
