Anna Schultz Obituary

Schultz, Anna Marie
Anna Marie Schultz, of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011. She was born in Chicago, IL on November 26, 1931. Loving wife to her husband of 61 years, Marvin Schultz, they enjoyed a full and happy life together, living in Lindenhurst and Fox Lake, IL before retiring to Apache Junction, AZ. Together they raised three boys: Tom, of Round Lake, IL, who recently became engaged to Elaine; Larry of Indianapolis, IN, married to Jackie; and Gary of Burlington, WI, married to Sherry. She had 6 grandchildren, Tommy (married to Christina), Melanie (married to Joe), Monika, Jeni, Matt and Kimber. She also had 7 great-grandchildren: Kati, Jonathon, Blake, Karissa, Lindsey, Gracie, and Phoenix. She will now be with her brother, Joe Sevcik, and her parents, Joseph and Matilda Sevcik. Anna Marie enjoyed sharing her talents with those she loved. Many homes are graced with her beautiful handmade quilts. Family and friends treasure her gifts lovingly stitched, crocheted, and knitted by hand. She was a member of the "Happy Hookers," a group of wonderful women who knitted and crocheted items to donate to those in need. Anna Marie also loved to cook, and collect recipes. She canned the tastiest beets and grape jelly, and baked delicious chocolate chip cookies. She also enjoyed reading, and going to craft fairs, and even square dancing for many years. Prior to retirement, she had a successful career in accounts payable. She was loved by her family and friends, and will always be remembered by her kindness, her caring and the way she shared her life.
