Holub, Pearl E.
Pearl E. Holub, 88, of Columbine Valley, CO and Sun City West, AZ, beloved wife of the late Anton "Tony" Holub passed away Saturday the 9th of April, after a very short stay at the Johnson Center in Centennial, surrounded by her children. Pearl was born in Tonawanda, NY and also lived in Pueblo for many years. Her favorite pastimes were golf and practicing on her organ. She and her husband enjoyed many trips that usually included a day or more of golf. In earlier years, she was involved in politics and volunteered at the hospital and at Head Start. She was a member of Columbine Country Club in Littleton and Briarwood Country Club in Arizona. She is survived by her sons Bill Tack of Pueblo; Keith (Jackie) Tack of Pueblo; Carl Holub of Arlington, VA; her stepdaughters Diane (Andy) Crawley of Littleton; Darleen (John) McGovern of Louisville; her grandchildren Troy (Cindy) Tack of Stevensville, MT; Greg (Marla) Tack of Pueblo; Joshua (Stephanie) Crawley of Highlands Ranch; Devin McGovern of Los Angeles; Lucas Crawley of Littleton; Layne McGovern of Los Angeles; Craig Tack of Denver; seven great-grandchildren; her sister Alice Metzloff of Aurora; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her brothers Axel Johnson and Harold Johnson preceded her in death. Services will be held at the Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary, 12801 West 44th Ave., Wheatridge, CO, 80033 on Saturday the 16th of April at 11 AM with viewing available at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A reception will be held at 12:30 PM at Columbine Country Club.
