Christina Kitts

Kitts, Christina (Wright, Gilbert)
of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on April 12, 2011. Christina Kitts (Wright, Gilbert) born in Jamestown Tennessee December 22, 1915 peacefully went home to be with the Lord at age 95 on April 12, 2011. She was a loving mother of three, grandmother of six, great-grandmother of fourteen, and great-great-great grandmother of ten. Christina and Herschel moved to El Mirage AZ in 1943 where she resided for most of her life. They first owned a service station, grocery, and auto repair shop on Waddell Road for a season and later Kitts Garage also on Waddell Rd. She worked at various jobs and her love and talent for sewing and designing led her to Camptrails where she worked 18 years as their designer until retirement. She also loved God, family, and gardening. She is preceded by her son Herschel Kitts Junior, husband Herschel Kitts, husband Walter Wright, and husband Buck Gilbert. Surviving her is Daughter Florene Colgan (Bob), daughter Sarah Roadruck (Bob) and Grandchildren; Delinda McMaster (Tom), Pamela Davidson, Debbie Bates (Todd), Vanessa Cruse (Tom), Mike Tanner (Christine), and Nicki Church (Gregg). Viewing Saturday April 16th 5 - 9 PM with services Sunday April 17th 3:00 PM, At West Resthaven Funeral Home located at 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale. There will be a reception following.
