As a father-in-law and Grampa. Al really showed how much he loved his family. Not so much in outward displays of affection, but more so in his faithfulness to provide for them, and in his steadfast loyalty to them until the end. God bless you Al.....now you are with your precious Martha. Well done!

I enjoyed my 9 or 10 years working with Al at the Ocotillo Power Plant. Like others have said, he was a real professional. I was very lucky to have worked with someone with so much knowledge early in my career. Al and family are in my thoughts.

When I joined the team at the APS Ocotillo Power Plant in 1961 I met Al Alekson. He was a good friend and co worker. He was always professional. In 1986 I was privileged to relieve him from his shift the night he retired. He came to my retirement party in 1994.

Al you have always been a true gentleman as well as a gentle man. I will miss talking to you, but most of all I will miss you at all our family gatherings. I know that you are happy to be with your beloved Martha. Dance with her. Much love, Mollie Pusateri

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Irish funeral prayer
