79, of Surprise, AZ, formerly a Captain in the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department, died on April 14, 2011. He is survived by wife Patrice Blanchette; 4 children, 3 daughters, 1 son. He was pre deceased by 1 son. Also, he leaves 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Services to be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on April 21, 2011 at 1:45 PM.

Uncle Ray, you will be greatly missed by your family. I will always remember the summer of '75' when I came out to Arizona with my aunt, uncle and cousins and rode a horse for the first time.
