I know you are not dead, your soul still lives,lives on in the promise land and in my heart.You've taught me the most important lesson, what life and love is.
Grandma you have been there for me thru thick and thin and have always had a heart of gold. Your kindness was genuine and one of a kind. You accepted everyone into your heart and always saw the good side verse the bad side. Your love and passion for your family was undeniable. You were our rock, the glue that held our family together. I am very thankful that I was blessed to have such a wonderful and caring grandmother as you. I have such fond memories of growing up with you around. From a very small child to an adult you have always been there for me with open arms. The love that you bestowed upon my brother and I will never be forgotten. You instilled the lord into our heart and we are forever thankful. I look at my brother and see so many of your qualities in him. It is because of you Grandma that we have the drive and inspiration to do better ,to do go above and beyond, to treat others with dignity and respect. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love you have given and shown.
My Grandma loved my son Andrew as if he were one of her own, she spoke so highly of him and showed him nothing but love. Again I am so very blessed to have been apart of her life.
A poem I found for you Grandma...
We thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new
We thought about you yesterday
And days before that too
We think of you in silence
We often speak your name
Now all we have are memories
And your picture in a frame
Your memory is our keepsake
With which we'll never part
God has you in his keeping
We have you in our hearts.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
And though we can not see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one,
The Chain will link again.
Until we meet again Grandma I love you and I know you will be watching over us.
