Fronk, Thomas E.
Thomas E. Fronk, 72, of Mesa, AZ, died Sunday April 10, 2011, at the Friendship Village Hospice of the Valley, surrounded by his two children. Born October 25, 1938 in Westover, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, he was a son of Glenn A. and Dorothy E. (Wagner) Fronk. He was preceded in death by his brother Glenn W. Fronk, and grandson, Joshua Fronk. Tom was previously married to Sandra L. (Eisley, Fronk) Hornberger. Tom was a graduate of Williamsport High School and Williamsport Technical Institute. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and awarded Newport Sailor of the Month, October 1958, Destroyer Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet. Tom loved to work and owned two construction companies through his many years of labor. He retired from Lundy Construction Co. Following retirement, he moved to Mesa AZ and was active in the East Valley Billiards League. Tom was a member of multiple organizations and fraternal societies including the Oaks Club, Moose Club, and past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Club. Tom was an active hunter in the Strops Club. He also was a devoted father through participation as Coach and President of the local Little League Baseball organization. Surviving are two children, Thomas E. Fronk, II of Dallas, TX, and Seth A. Fronk (Jeannie) of Tempe, AZ; grandchildren, Renee Fronk of Williamsport, Jeremy Dome (Kristin), Tracy Dome, and Gabriel Dome of Arizona; sister, Beverly Kovaleski of Williamsport, PA, and brother, Charles Fronk of Moscow, Pa. A Scripture Service will be held at 3 P.M., Friday MAY 6th, 2011 at Holy Spirit Chapel, 1800 E. Libra Drive, Tempe, Arizona, 85283 (1 block north of Guadalupe, east of McClintock Drive). Service to be located in the Chapel area of the Church. Access Chapel from the Northeast corner of the campus off the church parking lot per signs for "Blessed Sacrament Chapel".
