Mavis Judge Obituary

Judge, Mavis Ann
Mavis Ann (Junker) Judge of Gold Canyon, Arizona entered peacefully into heaven on March 1, 2011 at the age of 83 after a short illness. Mavis was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 21, 1928 to the late Joseph and Mary Junker. She married Thomas H. judge on March 3, 1946. Together, they raised five children: Michael, Catherine, Patricia, Thomas and Jennifer. The family founded and operated Judge's Laundry and Dry Cleaners, in the Central Wisconsin region for 30 decades. Mavis and her husband Tom retired to the Phoenix area in 1998. Mavis is survived by three children, Michael, Catherine and Patricia, her sister Charlotte Horton, thirteen grandchildren and five great grand children. Mavis was preceded in death by her husband Tom and children Tom and Jennifer. The Judge family expresses its deepest gratitude for the loving devotion and meticulous care shown to Mavis by the Lund House and Hospice of the Valley of Gilbert, Arizona. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Mavis's life on April 30, 2011 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes to honor a cause close Mavis's heart may send donations in her name to the Jennifer Judge Scholarship Fund at the Community Foundation of Greater South Wood County, 478 E. Grand Avenue, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. 54494
