King, Arlene Armstrong
Arlene King was born December 28, 1947 and went to be with her son, Kenneth Jr. on April 14, 2011. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Arlene lived her life to the fullest. She was a nurse (LPN) and earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She was a cub scout and boy scout leader for many years. She was deeply involved with various charity organizations. She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years , Kenneth, 3 sons, Christopher (Yvonne), Richard (Angel), and Joseph, Nichole, six grandchildren, 3 sisters, 1 brother plus many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 18th, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel and a funeral service on Tuesday, April 19th, 2011 at 11:00 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave in Phoenix. The family will be planting a "memory garden" for Arlene, if you care to bring a potted plant for the garden please do so at the visitation.
