Gerard Pujat Obituary
of Buckeye, Arizona passed away after a short illness on April 13, 2011. He was born in Newark, NJ in 1947. He is survived by his wife Kathy, son Christopher Pujat (Donna), daughter Kimberly Whitehill (Michael), sister Tracy Gilbert (John), grandchildren Christina, Mikayla and Michael Jr., and nephews Matthew and David. Jerry served with the Army C-3 3rd/47th Infantry in Viet Nam where he earned a Purple Heart. He moved to Arizona in 1996 upon retiring from General Motors with over 30 years. He was a member of VFW Post 6310 in Tolleson where he was proactive on behalf of veterans and served as a volunteer with Organizing for America. He had a kind and gentle heart and will be greatly missed. Visitation is planned for 6-8 pm Tues., Apr.19, at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr., Chandler, with rosary at 7. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wed., Apr. 20, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston, Chandler. Military honors will follow at 12:30 pm at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.

Kathy - Bob and I were just talking about Jerry yesterday!!! What a schock to hear of his passing. He was a true gentleman and friend!
His booming laughter will echo no more...... our prayers are with you and the family. We know you and Jerry made the perfect couple! We will be attending the services tomorrow night.
