Maria Tijerina Obituary
74, of Glendale, AZ passed away on 4/10/2011. Maria Tijerina was a long time resident of Glendale, Arizona. She retired from from Spring City Knitting Company, where she had worked for 21 years. Maria was also known for her missionary work in Agua Prieta Mexico, preaching the gospel and helped many in need of clothing and medicine. Maria spent her last year of her life at Ventanna Winds Assisted Living and memory care where she was so lovingly cared for. Maria has 2 sons Alex Jr, Eliceo (Chado) Tijerina, and daughter Mona Hosokawa. Daughter in - law Chung Lee, son in law Robert Hosokawa. Grand children Jessica and Tad Barbee, Monique, Talina, Daniel, Krista. Great Grandchildren Alyssa, Knox, Tristan, and Bryce. A memorial in her honor will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2011 at 7 pm at Fountain of Abundant Life Church. 5202 N 29th Ave. Phx, AZ 85017
