Rose Lynn Obituary
passed away on April 13, 2011. She was born in Dubuque, Iowa on February 20, 1926. She attended Clark College, and married James C. Lynn on June 19, 1948. They lived in Cedar Rapids and Waterloo, Iowa, and moved to Mesa in December of 1962. Rose Marie taught English and Choir at Seton Catholic High School, worked as a secretary for Christ the King Catholic Church, and was employed by Holy Spirit Catholic Church from 1974 through 1989. Rose Marie was preceded in death by her husband 3 years ago. She is survived by her three children: Laurie Kramer, Patty Breeding, and John Lynn, and six grandchildren: Gary Kramer, Stacy Klopping, Carrie Ross, Brian Love, and Audrey and Erica Lynn. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren and a brother William A. Whelan. She is preceded in death b Her greatest loves, after her family, were music, gardening, and bridge. Her Funeral Service will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Road in Mesa. Visitation will commence at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 20th, with Mass to begin at 10:00 a.m. Her interment will begin immediately afterward at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 East Main Street in Mesa. Arrangements are entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care 400 S. Power Road, Mesa. Condolences may be made at www.mariposagardens.com.

Rose Marie was a tower of strenght and the glue that held the parish together during the early 80s. She was thoughtful, insightful, kind and a good confidant. She was well loved and missed when she left the parish. Eva
