Robert Crowe Obituary

Crowe, Robert Earl
Robert Earl Crowe passed away on April 6, 2011, after a lengthy illness. Robert was born October 18, 1951, in Yazoo City, Mississippi to Josie and Jessie Crowe. Robert served in the U.S. Army from 1971 to 1974. A longtime resident of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Robert retired to Phoenix, Arizona in 1999. Robert had an easy-going, laid-back attitude and great memories of growing-up with his ten brothers and sisters. He always had a ready chuckle or a witty comeback when engaged in conversation, and enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. By far, his favorite way to spend time was with his family and friends watching a game on TV or playing cards, poker, and dominoes. He is survived by his mother, Josie Crowe of Laveen, AZ, sisters, Joyce Phoenix and husband Ozell of Houston TX, Patricia Williams of Glendale, AZ, Dorothy Rall and husband Keith of Hobbs NM, Josie Fludd of Litchfield Park, AZ, Sandra Crowe of Surprise, AZ, and brothers, Jerry Crowe of Phoenix, AZ, Leon Crowe of Ft. Worth, TX, Selwyn Crowe and wife Debra of Scottsdale AZ, Jesse Crowe, Jr. and wife Cassandra of Chandler, AZ, and Billy Crowe of Laveen, AZ. He was a devoted and joyful uncle to his numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Jessie B. Crowe, Sr. and grandparents, Agnes and Walter Leonard. We will cherish his memory forever. Funeral services will be held by Rev. Issac Pitre Sr., at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Antioch Baptist Church, 1622 N. 39th Ave., Phoenix AZ 85009. A viewing will precede the service from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Details forthcoming.
