My husband and I live across the street from the Friars. Every Christmas, for years and years, Myda made fudge for us. And every Christmas season, for all of those years, my husband began to watch for her to walk across the street with the little, tin box full of chocolate candy. Frequently, I had to hide it away so I could enjoy a piece! You were such a great cook, Myda, and you were so dedicated to all of your family and neighbors. We will miss you, but we know where you are, and that gives us comfort.

My Dear Aunt Mite, She was a caretaker of so many. She served others with love and compassion. My life today is because she gently guided me and made sure that I had opportunity to make good choices. Her Christian example shines and I will miss her. Loveingly, Carol Rodgers Borden
