Samuel Peterson Obituary
of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away April 18, 2011 at the age of 79. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley A. Peterson, his daughter, Evelyn McGee (Jim), his son, Samuel W. Peterson (Kelly), his grandchildren, Brad McGee (Nicci), Brian McGee, Sarah Peterson and Katie Peterson, and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Emiley and Bradley McGee. Sam was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and moved to Arizona in 1967 from Pennsylvania. Sam's kindness and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Funeral service will be at 11 am with visitation at 10 am on Thursday April 21, 2011 at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St. Burial at 12:30 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Valley and the American Lung Association.
