Dear Tom and Wayne,

I echo Sandra's thoughts about you mother and ours. I haven't seen Aunt Bea for a long time, nor you, but I cherish the memories of growing up in the folds of the northern Iowa-southern Minnesota clan. Your mother and father had big spirits and we were all blessed to know them and have them in our lives.

Love, Ken

Dear Tom and Wayne,
When I received the news of your mother's passing I was saddened.I have vivid memories of visiting you all in Joice as a child and the wonderful food that Bea and Evaline prepared for us for our gathering. In later years,I loved any visit from your mother or anytime I was in her presence because of her contagious laughter. Her smile was always welcoming,I shall never forget it. My mother had a great love for both Bea and Evaline and I know that they have all been united now to continue their friendship forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. Love, Sandra

Dear Tom and Wayne,
I am so sorry to hear of the death of your mother. She was a beautiful, gracious woman on the inside and outside. She had a real presence when she entered the room.
I enjoyed having lunch with her the last few years. She was so alert and well informed--she remembered many individuals and families she had known in Joice. You have to be very proud of your mom.
Again my sympathy to you and your families.
