Elaine - You are remembered as a friend and very caring nurse in the years we spent working in the Glendale area of Maricopa County Health Dept. That was a long time ago (60's and 70's), but my memories go back to the Avondale area where you spent much of your work time dedicated to providing health services to the families in that area. Your kindness and caring manner will always be remembered.

I so admired Elaine's positive outlook. She loved dogs and always wanted to pet mine. When mine was lost during a storm, she called me to tell me his whereabouts. Elaine seemed to enjoy each day as God means it to be so. I will miss you.

Elaine my dear friend, fellow nurse, neighbor and Mr Shadow's care giver when I was away. We (Mabel, Bette, you and myself) walked every day around 4 pm for many years.
We also took trips to Glendale for their Thursday night events which resulted in homemade cook books, braclets and lots of laughs! You were there with support when my father and then my husband died.
I will always remember Bunco nights and Christmas eves. I am missing you and your wonderful attitude.

Elaine~a good friend and neighbor for over 40 years. In Phoenix, we would go to Metro Center shopping almost every Saturday and since we both worked that was the only time we had to spend our paychecks. I was there when her husband Bill died and she was there when my husband Chuck died. She had become family to us and when I moved to Sun City she followed. She was very inolved in her church and had many friends here and enjoyed the card games and eating out. She will be missed very much by those who knew her. She was like a sister to me. Now it is too quiet next door!

Elaine ~ my neighbor/friend/family. She was next door when I walked home from grade school, she was there when I picked out my wedding dress, she was there when my girls were born, she was there when my dad died. She followed my mom to Sun City, and as fate would have it, she moved in right next door.
Monday morning Ruthy (my dog) and I went next door to say good-bye before we headed back to Las Vegas, never dreaming it would be the last time that we would see her.
Her faith, her perserverance, her caring and compassionate heart & soul have inspired me for life. Allie (my 19yr old daughter) said it best, "Aunt Elaine was an angel!"
