Roselyn Conrado Obituary

Conrado (Reinboldt), Roselyn "Rossi"
Roselyn "Rossi" Rene Reinboldt Conrado, 44, died April 19, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Rossi was born on May 30, 1966, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and moved to Phoenix when her family returned to Arizona in the early 70s. A 1984 graduate of Camelback High School, she earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington, lived in Seattle, and then moved to Cozumel, Mexico, where she owned and operated Caribbean Massage for ten years. She then moved back to Phoenix where she nurtured others with her healing hands at Massage Envy. A devoted mother who was fluent in both Spanish and French, Rossi loved dance, music, cooking and travel. She always made everyone around her feel cared for and special, and her fun loving zest for life will be missed. Rossi is survived by her daughters Cristina (13) and Karina (10); her parents, Robert and Karen Reinboldt; her sister Heidi Raber (David); her brother Fred (Colleen); her niece Nikki Raber; her nephews Kyle Raber and Ryan and Mitchell Reinboldt; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at Paradise Sunset Chapel Funeral Home, 3934 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix. The family is profoundly grateful to Singleton Moms, Ryan House, and Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center for their care and compassion during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rossi's memory to Singleton Moms (3370 N. Hayden Road, #123-509, Scottsdale, AZ 85251) or to Hospice of the Valley (1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014).

It is 4 weeks today Rossi's bright light went out. One even brighter has been added to the heavens above. I feel our Rossi'e presence every day in so many ways. I have yet to make her soup without her being here with me. I love and miss her so much but, knowing she is without pain and caring for all of us now brings deep peace.
I will always love you Ms. Rossi, sleep with the Angles.

I had the pleasure of caring for Roselyn in an outpatient cancer treatment center and administered her very first chemo. She was such a sweet person and always full of enthusiasm and positive energy. She will greatly be missed...I am grateful to have met such a special person. Rest in peace, Rossi.

IT WAS MY ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO TAKE CARE OF ROSELYN. FROM THE INSTANT WE MET, WE HIT IT OFF. WE TALKED ABOUT ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING... LAUGHED AND CRIED TOGETHER. SHE WAS ONE OF THE BRAVEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. SHE ALWAYS WANTED TO MAKE OTHER PEOPLE HAPPY DESPITE THE PAIN AND SUFFERING SHE WAS GOING THROUGH. MY HEART IS ABSOLUTELY BROKEN THAT WE HAVE LOST HER. WE TRIED TO SAVE HER AND WHEN WE COULDNT, GOD CALLED HER HOME. I AM TRULY A BETTER PERSON FOR KNOWING HER. I LOVE U ROZ.... I WILL MISS U!!

This photo was from April 13th and we had just had lunch and Rossi flirted with the waiter. She felt pretty and happy that day, and it shows!

Rossi was soooo funny. You couldn't help but start grinning from ear to ear within 30 seconds of being around her. She was always so appreciative of those who wanted to give a helping hand, and was always trying to find ways to "give a helping hand" back! She lived life deeply and fully and was a role model to all who knew her. Her spirit and beauty will live on in her special daughters, Christina and Karina. Thank you to Rossi's family for sharing her with the "Singleton Moms family".

To family and friends of "Rossi," I never met Rossi but I knew her and her daughters through my daughter Denise Golden and her children Hailey and Gia. My daughter and grandchildren loved Rossi and her children. My deepest sympathy to all and as a mother who has lost a grown child I can feel her Mom and Dad's loss... My thoughts and prayers are with Rossi and all her dear family and friends.

I only knew Rossi from the stories I heard from other Singleton Mom volunteers. What I learned is that Rossi was always positive and her spirit always shined through. I'm certain that spirit will live on through all who knew her. Jennifer Huff - Singleton Mom's volunteer

I knew her through my daughters, Carrie and Christy. She was so much fun to be with.
I wish I would have known her more and much longer. She brightened up the room with her presence. I am so thankful to have had the chance to know her even a little.

My life is forever blessed for knowing Rossi. She was an amazing friend. She had such a positive outlook on life and always shared words of encouragement. You could share your soul with her and she was always so understanding and selfless. Thank you for being a part of our lives and for loving our family the way you did. I hope you knew what a blessing you were to so many. We love you and miss you so much.

Rossi was a very special woman. Like Carrie said, no matter what was going on in her life, she tried her best to stay positive. She aways seemed genuinely concerned for others, even when her life had difficult moments. She's one of those people where you honestly feel you didn't appreciate her enough, and then she's gone. I know she's smiling down from Heaven now, praying for us all. I will truly miss Rossi.

When I am away from you,
I am still with you,
When my eyes are closed,
I still see you.
When I am awake,
I still dream of you.
When I feel I have everything,
I still need you.
And no matter what,
I will always love you.

Rest in peace, Rossi.

Rossi was my best friend. She always took care of others. Her bear hugs were the greatest thing when you were having a hard time. She was devoted to being the best mom and you can see in her girls that she loved them with all her heart. I had many hours of deep and real conversations about life that I will never forgot. I am so greatful that I met Rossi and was able to spend so many years with such an amazing friend. I love you Rossi~~~~@ You will be missed. The last few days of your precious time with us means more to me then I can express in words. <3
