My Auntie Carolyn. Full of life, love & acceptance of others. She opened her heart & home to many that felt lost or alone. She was like no one else I knew; unique & wonderfully made! I love you Auntie Carolyn! Always have & always will.I’ll see you in Heaven! ❤❤❤

I always believed that we receive a special blessing when we get the opportunity to share real friendship with someone throughout our lives. The kind of friendship that lasts. Carolyn was that friend. I was blessed to have her in my life for so many years.
Carolyn and I met in the late 1970’s and shared many fun times and spent long hours talking about anything and everything. She was a true friend to the truest sense of the word and I will miss her here on earth. I know that she is finally free of pain and with her Lord. I also know I shall see her again.

When a family member or friend passes my mind turns its pages back to find memories filled in the years before. I will always remember "Auntie Carolyn" for her carrying and warmth. Her heart always meant well for all of those around her. The food she used to cook us when we would visit. The stories of her and mom growing up. I think of these memories and smile for its not what you take when you leave this world, it's what you leave behind that is important. Carolyn, you left great memories with me that will last always. I will miss you.

I remember Carolyn from Hope Center. She was so tall and elegant really as she kind of floated across the lobby in her long dresses. She always had a smile on her face and was kind to me. I know you all who loved her as family will miss her but also that she is with the Lord will provide you much peace and the knowledge that you will live eternally together one day. May God cover you all with such a peace that you know its from Jesus.

Thanks for always believing that each of us "kids" would grow up to do great things. Thanks for always knowing what was in our hearts. Thanks for driving us places when we couldn't do it ourselves. Thanks for the love and laughs. Thanks for being an important part of my life.

I shared a Mom with many it seemed, memories of the past, through the joys and the tears, treasures of family collected through years.
What brought us together we out casts in life, perhaps it was some hardship, battle or strife.
I'm thinking of crafts and kittens and art, of walking and waiting around the Wal-Mart.
A falcon speeds down a road lined with trees, a clutch peddle sticking up to your knees.
A house made a home through acceptance and love, a good strong faith in the Lord above.
Nights spent just talking till dawn; it sometimes is hard to realize you’re gone.
There is but one solace for us to be gained, we wink and we smile as you dance in the rain.
So many lives touched, so many hearts saved, so many before you so many harps played.
Go now and dance and run in the rain, bask in your new life full of joy and without pain.
We love you.

She helped so many who didn't have a home, family, or a place to stay, when she lived in Martinez. I will always remember her as a loving and caring person.

I'm remembering Mom's delight in all things creative and fun....As Leticia and I cleared her room, we found cute little drawings and sketches on every scrap of paper....the flow of her artistic abilities was unstoppable, even when she didn't feel well...The ability to create beauty despite the pain one feels is an extraordinary gift, hers was unstoppable...I also admired her love of God and confidence in His love for her. Finally, it's been very rewarding to see Mom from other people's eyes....She helped many people to feel loved and accepted. I loved that about her. Cheers Mom!

My grandma Carolyn was one of if not the most caring person I've ever known. Anyone and everyone was always welcome in her home whether for an hour or a month or years. She taught me how to read when I was 3 years old and we enjoying relaxing on her water bed and watching movie after movie, especially The Wizard Of Oz. I love you and miss you so much Carolyn and I know your up there with my dad watching over all of us.
