Donna loved all of God's creatures

Donna loved her dog, "Rusty," and bird, "Baby," so much. They were rarely ever separated. She also kept an eye on the rabbits and birds in the court yard. All animals loved her because she had such a kind, gentle, loving spirit.

I love you Mom

I miss my mom so much. She always told me how much she loved me. She ended every phone call with "I love you."

If Donna's daughter, Kathleen, is any indication of the kind of woman she was - she must have been absolutely a wonderful joy. Lots of love and prayers go out to the family. We know the Father has welcomed her. We pray the Father will comfort the family.

It seems like I have known Donna forever because she is the sister of my wife, Nancy. My my, it must be over 50 years now that I have known her. Both Nancy and I will really miss her because she was really a good sister and actually a real "Mom' to us all. One of the very memorable things about her was that she showed me that it was OK to be a little close and "huggie" within the family because for me, that wasn't the tradition within my own parents and family. I also will miss the great verbal "sparing" that we used to have on a give-and-take basis about religion and politics. It was, of course, never degrading or negative, just several people having some amount of levity.

Nancy is already missing Donna's regular calls, where they could, as sisters do, commiserate on family, the world and even God.

Donna is and will be truly be missed by this part of the family and our condolences are given to all.

Donna and I were friends for about 25-30 years, and she is the one that lead me to Christ. We lost touch the last several years, but she was on my mind a lot. My deepest sympathies to Bill, Jacque, Cathy and Frank, and to all her precious grandchildren.
