Paula,

How sad I was when I heard of Jack's passing. Even though we haven't been in touch for several years my thoughts and love for both you and Jack have remained constant. I have so many fond fun memories of our times together as the "JARPS" in bowling, what fun that was and also being in the same ward with you and neighborhood. I consider our friendship a wonderful blessing in my life. Paula my love and heart is with you now even though it is from a distance. Ray and I both loved you and Jack and I am very grateful for the times we spent togther. I remember when you and Jack were married and how happy we were for both of you. I love you Paula and know how hard it is to loose your companion. Please know my love and prayers are with you.

Dear Paula Diane, As the eldest in Barton and Wilma's family, I think you began at an early age to care for those around you. Even your choice of vocation and service in the church, shows your love and concern for those you came in contact with. Your husband and families needs were always met. We were happy to see you and Jack when you were in Salt Lake for Barton's birthday. Your deep love and concern for Jack was evident. Since you'll always be like your sweet mother, and you probably won't change now, but I hope you'll make some time for Paula. I'm sure Jack would say you deserve it, now that he's begun his new mission. Sending our sincere sympathy and love, Darleen North Schrenk and family.

Thank you for some very old memories. I am sorry to hear of Jack's passing, but rejoice in all of the things you were able to do together. I am so glad that these treasures were shared in the obituary. It just stands as a testament of your love, strength, and devotion to the Lord and His Kingdom. I am sure you, Paula are proud of the legacy he leaves.

I am so thankful to have known Jack and Paula. Many years have past since I saw you last. But I will always be grateful that you gave me a "second chance." As you see, somehow I was "purchased" by Jack and Paula when they purchased King Pharmacy and relocated their Medical Square Pharmacy in 1980. So many challenges happened those first few months with not only relocating but trying to keep Mr. King's customers. Thanks for taking me lock, stock and barrel under your wings and accepting me as if we had always known each other.

Paula, I love how you were a "helpmeet" working alongside your husband, showing how to be a "team" helped strengthen me. You taught me how to "barter" and share whatever the Lord gives to you. We learned from you how to "pay it forward". Thank you. Thank you.

You were always so kind to give me time off whenever my husband, Delbert said it was time to travel with him on business. It was difficult to say goodbye to such great employers, but you will remember why I really left. Our adopted son, Gregg came and became the only reason I could ever leave. I have never fogotten our few months together. So glad our paths crossed and may they cross again some day, whether here or there. It has been worth it to have known a great man, Jack and a great lady, Paula. My thoughts are with you at this time. May the Lord's blessings continue to abide.

How appropriate it is that I am able to express my love and appreciation to Brother Jack and his wonderful family on this beautiful Easter Sunday. Today we reflect on the reality that it was Jesus Christ who made it possible for everyone to live eternally, and more than that, by accepting the Savior and obeying His commandments, to live forever with Heavenly Father and the Savior in Heaven. Everyone who knows Jack Walker knows that he loves the Lord -- and he loves his fellow man. Jack was a living example of someone who lived the "two great commandments." Jack, in turn, we know the Lord loves you, your family loves you, and we your friends, part of your eternal family, love you, too. Thank you for setting such a wonderful example of love and dedication to what's good and right in life. We will miss you, but look forward to seeing you again. In the meantime, may peace and love abide with your wonderful family until your eternal reunion.

When it was my turn to call Jack on our weekly Friday morning pharmaceutical report calls, I always started out with GOOD MORNING JACK! A tradition was started, and everytime I spoke with him, no matter what time of day, I would always start our conversation by saying GOOD MORNING JACK!
I was blessed to be his friend for 23 years, and always considered our talks as a training session for life. Jack was not only a mentor, but I considered him like a father figure. He had the ability to touch and change so many lives. His example will live on in the eternities.
As I said to him on many occasions, I look forward to saying GOOD MORNING JACK! on that special and sacred morning.

When Uncle Jack's brother Larry Walker married my mother Darla and took us 5 girls into his heart and accepted us as his own...Uncle Jack did also. He and Aunt Paula always made us feel accepted and part of the Walker family. The most recent memory of Uncle Jack was at my Dad's (Larry Walker) funeral one year ago. As TAPS was being played at the graveside I saw Uncle Jack weep. I was touched as Aunt Paula put her tender arms around him to comfort him. That was a tender and comforting moment for me as I was mourning my fathers passing. I love you Uncle Jack and Aunt Paula. I know you will be busy busy on the other side. My Dad will make sure of that. ha ha

Life for me began when I married into the Walker Family. Jack always accepted me as a sister-in-law for which I shall always be grateful.

He and Larry were the first two siblings born into the family. They were and are fine men of character. I enjoyed Jack's humor, honesty and integrity. That is definitely part of the Walker Crest of Honor; what a tribute to their parents.

I saw Jack as a humble man with a great capacity for tenderness and charity toward his wife, children, and grandchildren. They will miss him.

Jack loved the Lord and was dedicated to the cause of Zion! He was loyal to the Church and to the Savior. He testified of the truth as he and his wife, Paula, served 2 misions together. He was a servant of the Lord and honored his Priesthood.

He loved his country and was a patriot of freedom to the end of his life. He was a loyal member of his family and supported them in all their activities.
He will be preparing a place for his loved ones so that they can all be together again!

He especially loved Paula. She was a significant part of his life and contributed much happiness for him. She will miss Jack, but the comfort of an eternal marriage will carry her through those difficult moments without him here in mortality.

Much love to the family!

Jack Walker, what an Extraordinary man.
He has been the kind of father most of us can only dream of, so lucky are his Sons and Daughter to have had him watch over them. I will always miss "talking sports" with Jack and being amazed by his insight and knowledge. What a truely loveing, friendly, kind and sharing person, not many like him. I am thankful for knowing him, for the respect he gave to my family and being a father figure to those of us who would be otherwise without it. "Papa Jack" we love and miss you dearly.

Dear Paula,
I'm not sure if you will even remember me. My name is Shari Sant Monk. It's been so many years....back in the Medical Square Pharmacy days. My mother, Marian Sant, worked for you and Jack at the pharmacy. We have often wondered about you and your sweet family. I have many fond memories of tending darling Alan and Bart and spending time with all of you. I can't hardly believe how grown up and handsome Bart and Alan are! My sweet mama passed away nearly 2 years ago. Life without her is much like a library without books. She was truly my very dearest friend. How blessed we are to know we will be reunited with our loved ones someday. If my mama were here, she would put your name and the names of your family members on the Temple Prayer Roll. Since she can't quite do that, I want you to know that I have done that for her. She truly loved each one of you very much. We are thankful to have known you, your dear Jack, Dwight, Alan and Bart. On behalf of Marian's family, I send you all our love and prayers to comfort you.
With Love and Sympathy,
Shari Sant Monk

I was so sorry to read of the passing of Jack. I will be forever grateful for my association with him. He was not only a wonderful boss that gave me my start in the pharmaceutical industry, but Jack was also a dear friend and mentor. I learned so much from him and will always cherish the numerous times that I spent working and learning from him. I think of him often and have on many occasions thought about Jack and how he helped mold me. I will miss him. May our Heavenly Father bless and comfort you and your family during this time and know that you are in my prayers.

In the past 31 years, words have never been adequate to express my love for my father… I don’t imagine they will do justice now. I do feel extreme comfort in knowing that dad and I posses a full and complete understanding of how we feel about one another. I’ll do my best to make you proud pop & HOW ‘BOUT THEM JAZZ!!!

Jack was one of the greatest men I have ever known. He was honest, caring, funny, and lovable. My fondest memories of Jack will always be the small talk, and jokes that we shared. His family serve as an example of the type of person he was and the type of life he lived. They all carry a part of him in their personaity, charity, and passion for life. I know how lucky I am to have known him and to have called him a friend. He will be missed by all for many reasons, but by me for the simple things. Love ya Jack

Paula and family,

What a privilege it has been to know Jack and to share grandpa duties with such a wonderful, caring, and loving man! I am grateful that our grandson Jack carries on the good name of his Grandad Walker! Jack's example of pressing on and patient enduring will not be forgotten and will ever be a lasting example to his posterity and all of us! I'll never have another Orange Dream Jamba Juice without smiling and thinking of our good friend Jack! VERY best wishes for heavenly comfort and peace to you and all the family...

Dear Paula and family...Seeing Jack's photo brought back a flood of good memories of hours spent together in church service. I know Jack has learned his lessons in mortality, and is well prepared now for the callings that await him. May that assurance and the peace that comes from He who loves us, be with you. Brother Jack was a friend of valiant faith. It was always a joy to see him in the Mesa temple serving those on both sides of the veil. He lived a life of righteousness, and dearly loves the Savior. Although he will be missed we feel comfort in knowing that he is indeed "on the Lord's errand." Paula and the family will eternally treasure and continue to feel of Jack's personal love and and be inspired by Brother Jack Dean Walker's stalwart example and personal valiance. Although, his challanges were often great he bore his burdens with examplary dignity. We have been blessed by his friendship. ~A. K. Rogers~
