We were so fortunate to be on Don's route and to get to know him....what a nice soul he was. He took great pride in the work he did: if he couldn't sharpen one of our knives or tools to his satisfaction, he would rummage around the back of his station wagon and find a replacement! We know his loving family will miss his presence............and so will many other families who shared a small part of his life. Marianne & Ozzie Sattler, Phoenix

We will truly miss his 2 times a year visits in North Central. He always kept our knives sharp and was so professional in his manner. Was wondering where he was and was hoping he would come back. Our sympathy to his loving family and just know that we admired and appreciated him.

We never knew Don's last name. Only knew when his white station wagon was in our North Central neighborhood that our knives would be SHARP! We will miss him, our knives and lives will be duller without him. with sympathy,
