Doris DeHart Obituary

DeHart, Doris Mae
Our Mother, Doris Mae DeHart died on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the age of 81. She was born in Huron, South Dakota on 11/10/1929 to Joseph and Selma Bein, the youngest of 4 children. She was orphaned at a young age but she, and her siblings, were lovingly raised by her mother's surviving sister and brothers. She was raised in Napa CA from age 8 until she moved to Phoenix with her husband and 2 daughters in 1954. She met our father, Gail E. DeHart, through his sister and they were married Oct. 1, 1949 and remained married until his death in 1979. Her family was most important to her - we were her primary focus. We loved her and continue to do so now. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Wegesser and Kathy Turnbow (Mike) of Glendale AZ and a great-grandson, Kyle M. Wegesser of Layton UT. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Ruth Bein and her best friend since high school so she is a sister, Betty Adams of Napa CA. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gail, by her grandson, Daniel Wegesser and her brothers Elmo Bein and Donald Bein and sister Evalyn Schwartz. A memorial service will be held at a future date at the home of her daughter. Our mother believed in Jesus Christ and his shed blood for the remission of sin and she is dancing in heaven and would not return here if she could!! This family served by Advantage Maryvale Mortuary.
