Jeany Joyce Obituary

Joyce, Jeany Angela Pawlak
12-29-67 through 3-5-11. In 1967, a light came to this earth that cannot be extinguished. If you were her parent, you knew her love and support. If you were her sibling, you knew her "joie de vivre", brilliance, gentleness. If you were her husband, you had her devotion, truth, courage. If you were her child, you were taught unconditional love, compassion for all things, and encouragement for whatever path you chose. That would be Jeany. When she was just 5, she got lymphoma. She was one of the first children with that cancer to live to become an adult. But the treatment left her body compromised, and she developed heart and lung problems as an adult. Despite her illness, Jeany knew she was going to get everything out of life that it had to offer. She met the love of her life, Tom, at a young age. They started their own business, Joyce Family Tidyes, and a very special family. All through her life, she kept the sweetness of youth, and gave her love and time unselfishly. She became an inspiration and example to a lot of people. Over the last several years, Jeany courageously underwent several surgeries to lengthen her life, until her heart gave out suddenly. Jeany is survived by her husband Tom, and three children Molly, Gracie and Paul, her 5 siblings, and a multitude of friends across the country. In her honor, the family asks that you offer your time/resources to Spirit Of The Hills Sanctuary in SD, your local animal shelter, or adopt a wonderful pet and love it for the rest of it's life.
