James Joseph McCarthy, 82 departed this life on April 18, 2011. 'Jim' was born February 15, 1929 in Liberty, New York to James Joseph McCarthy and Florence Hathaway McCarthy. Jim is survived by his cousin, Viola Marcio of New York; children, Dennis McCarthy, Norissa (Rick) Honea, Daniel (Susan) Walter, Melissa Pemberton, Randall (Anabelle) Walter, Armando Ceja; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and many friends worldwide. Jim you were special to us. We had many good times throughout the years. It was something that we would run into one another in other towns. Not knowing each others schedule. You were so intelligent & I was very impressed with your vocabulary. Helen's children meant a lot to you, you always had kind words to say about them. Armando, your adopted son, what joy he also brought to you. The last few years, we saw that you were not doing too well with your health. No more suffering our friend. You are now with your loved ones & epecially JESUS CHRIST. I will miss our conversations. Love you always! Vaya con DIOS mi amigo!
