Moore, William Branom
William "Bill" Moore, 73, of Mesa, AZ passed away, March 21, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA. Bill was born, December 21, 1937 to William Earl and Louella [Branom] Moore in St. Louis, MO. Bill retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1986 as a Colonel, during his military career he had been stationed all over the world; his various duties included working as a flight surgeon, the Hospital Commander at Williams AFB and flew fighter jets during Vietnam. Following his retirement he started his life as the ultimate cruiser, going on cruises to various destinations around the world. He is survived by his fiancée Helen Ross, her daughter Susan (Mike) Stoffan and her son Scott Mara and family as well as other extended family and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Patricia. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, April 29, 2011 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd in Mesa.
