'Little Grandma' was very generous to us kids. She was very kind, very loving, and very English! I'm proud to carry her heritage. Resilience must run strong in the British. What a testament she was to standing firm in the face of adversity.
I remember coming home from school to presents from Grandma and Grandpa. Those memories will never fade. We'll miss you, Grandma. It seems as though we are only here for a brief period, and then we're gone. Our days are cut too short to really enjoy life. We will see each other again someday.

Our grandmother was a wonderful and caring person, she made sure there was an eqalizing of love amongst her own as well as her adopted family. She always had a kind word to say to us all and when she was so far away it was hard for us to show her how we felt about her. We feel that she is closer now than ever and we are forever blessed in having her for as long as we did, others are not so blessed. As time goes by, we shall keep her in our hearts and our thoughts and she will be nearer than she ever was in life.

My beloved Mother for 70 years of my life. I want to thank you for all the tears and hugs and kisses you gave me when I needed them..you kept me going when I wanted to give up, especially after the death of my 2 babies, one being Brandon, my son. You kept me going every single day until the pain was bearable..you made me learn macrame and crocheting until I was doing this in my dreams. It was a labor of love on your part to help your own child through this most painful time. I remember all the laughter and silly things we did together and the jokes I pulled on you that I had to explain because you didn't get it but we had fun like the friends we were. You were my best friend, my sister and "me Mum" as I liked to call you and I look forward to the time we can be together again. Until that day comes, may Jehovah keep you close to his heart as you are in mine. You were the best mother in the world and I miss you terribly.
Your own little girl,

Eve was a sweetheart and one of my favorite people. She was also my mother-in-law for 41 years and taught me so many things. She had such a wonderful, kind spirit and stayed positive always. She taught me how to sew, make jewelry and we always had a great time together. She helped for many years with the handicapped ministry at the church she attended and her & Pastor Bob adopted & supported many children around the world through different charitable organizations. She not only talked the talk but she really walked the walk. She thought of others to the very end of her life and the last conversation I had with her she told me how much she loved me. I can not recall a cross word between us in all of the time that I knew her. I am sure she is enjoying the many treasures that she stored up in heaven and I can't wait to see her again someday and have a great time together again.
