Willis Hitchens-Rowe Obituary

Hitchens-Rowe, Willis Naomi (Sellers)
85, of Mesa, AZ passed into the Lord's arms on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011. She was born and raised in Sigourney, Iowa. She lived in Ankeny, Iowa for 26 years prior to moving to Mesa in 1988. She is survived by her husband of 9 years, Warren Rowe, sons James David Hitchens (wife Pat) of O'Fallon, MO and Gregory Lee Hitchens (wife Lana) of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brother Harold Sellers of Mesa, AZ and 4 step-daughters. She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years James Lowell Hitchens on April 22, 1999. She is also predeceased by 2 brothers, Cleland and Jack, and 3 sisters, Cleo, Phyliss and Alta. She will be remembered by family and friends for her strong faith and compassonate spirit. Memorial service: Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 11 am at Broadway Christian Church, 7335 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85208. Memorial contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014 or Sunshine Acres Children's Home, 3405 N. Higley Road, Mesa, AZ 85215.
