Herbert Schwartz Obituary

Schwartz, Herbert (Herb) J.
Loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend passed away peacefully on April 23, 2011, at the age of 79. Herb is survived by his dear wife, Sheila, of 48 years, daughter, Pam Welp (Philip), son, Randy, and five grandchildren, Emily and Cole Welp, Jackie, Bella, and Hailey Schwartz who adored their "Dear Pops." He was born and raised in San Diego, California. After college he joined his brother-in-law, Sylvan Baranov in the jewelry business. In 1963 he joined the Revlon Cosmetic Company. For the next 32 years he lived and worked where most people vacation, San Diego, San Francisco, New York, Hawaii, Hong Kong, and Puerto Rico. Herb retired in 1995 as a Regional President for Revlon's International Division. Herb loved working outside in his yard and working with wood. He was an amazing man who lived life to its fullest. He was loved by all and will be truly missed. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11 am at the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, 24210 North 68th St., Phoenix, AZ, 85054. Casual attire please. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 West Evergreen Ave. Suite 303, Chicago, IL, 60642 or a charity of your choice.

What a wonderful man....I will remember his humorous and joyous
slant to life. There was an ease about him that made it comfortable to be in his presence.
