We just returned to AZ and were told of Mike's passing. Only those who have walked in your shoes know and understand. Our connection was only thru his last place of employment where we would stop in each Friday night. He was so proud & happy when he got married and we were happy for him. May God ease your sorrow with each days passing....

Chris, Chuck and Dan, my dad just let me know about our loss of Mike. I regret having missed his services. I remember when Dan used to pick me up and swing me around in a circle and Mike would try to tackle Dan. I'm sure our laughter was heard by many as we grew up together. Please accept the hugs I'm enclosing in this message. Mike will be missed greatly. One night Mike was patrolling and I came out of circle k and he had me all up against the car, spread eagled, and he patted me down. We were laughing so hard because everyone was watching thinkiing I was some kind of criminal. I have many many wonderful memories of Mike and I growing up. Sending you my love and condolences. Ted.

Dear Stankus family,
May God be with your family, and you Michael. It was was an honor to serve with him in Desert Storm. His humor kept me going during the war. As I use to call him, Sgt . "Krankus" !! he would get a kick from that. Semper Fi, brother. We love you.
