Jessie Wilson Obituary

Wilson, Jessie Ross Cain
83, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on April 20, 2011. She was born in Waynesburg, PA to Jacob Lantz (Cain) and Mary Alice Cain, the youngest of 7 girls. She was the one who cleared dance floors with her jitterbug; stopped traffic in downtown Pittsburgh in her blue velvet suit; and rode her bicycle all over Maryvale until she was 80 years old, because she had never learned to drive. She was the one who loved camping in her RV in Clint Wells, Happy Jack, AZ and who had a strong and trusting relationship with God. Jessie is survived by her 4 daughters: Bonnie Reamer (Scottsdale, AZ), Leslie Katusa (Sun City, AZ), Tracey (Paul) Winton (Cottonwood, AZ), and Amy (Joe) Downey (Glendale, AZ). She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Donnie Pearl Shaw, who continues to reside in Waynesburg, PA. A private memorial service is being held in Glendale, AZ, May 14th, 2011. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.

We always enjoyed visiting with Jessie at all the gatherings when the kids were young. She was "Gammy" to all the little ones! The family is in our prayers.

Gammy. I love you so much and miss you so much already. You are so amazing and beautiful. You gave me an amazing Mommy and every time I help her with something I think of you. You always told me how wonderful she is and how much she does for everyone and that you want me to help her. I do my best Gammy, but even though she's being so strong through this time, she needs more help. I know you're going to be there all the time to make things easier. You're the best, I love you most. Mommy. Everywhere I go in this house I think of you. I sit in your chair outside and think of you. Your room is clean and ready for you to come back. I miss you and love you "more than you'll ever know".
