Dear Susan, Lisa, and John,

Our family has suffered a great loss with the passing of James Leo. He was generous, loving, compassionate, and funny. At all of our family gatherings you could always count on him to bring his special brand of humor to the event. He was especially giving and loving to all of his Connolly in-laws, neices and nephews. He was a perfect match for Sue and a great dad to Lisa and John. He will be greatly missed and always remembered with much love.

Love,

Kathy and Anthony

Jim helped to establish an excellent department of occupational health at Des Moines University. I am proud to have been a part of that department that offered personalized care to the City of Des Moines.

I just wanted to say that Jim was one of the finest people I ever met. Since I was 12 years old he has been in my life and never was he judgemental, mean spirited or cranky. He always had a smile, a joke, from his own unique sense of humor, a great story and support for those he loved. I was lucky to have him in my family and in my life for as long as I did. I will truly miss him and my life will not be the same without you Jim. I know he touched the lives of everyone that he met in a positive way. Love you always.

Jim was a great son, brother, father, and husband. Jim's life was much too short but it has spanned many a places from Ohio to Germany, Somalia and finally in Phoenix. Jim was a great person who always listened but never judged. I will miss his smile and of course his dry sense of humor. Jim married my sister , Susan 38 years ago and they were the perfect partners and great parents to Lisa. I will miss you dear friend. Love your sister-in-law , Sheila and hubby Paul.
