I meet Cheri in the early 80's.. We had a great time together camping, 4 wheelin', trips to nogales, tubac, even taking pictures while flying over sun city..truly a special person with a quirky sense of humor. Cheri you will never be forgotten. Thanks for being you. God Bless..

Cheri was a dear friend, we met once or twice a year and got caught up, we laughed, we cried, we hiked, then we would go out to eat, then we would share the biggest piece of warm apple pie smothered with vanilla ice cream and laugh some more. Cheri you are forever in my heart, love you Linda

I met Cheri at a Halloween party a few years ago. We chatted and I found out that she liked french movies. Since I speak french and I like them too, we decided to go see one together. We did a few times and would go for coffee afterwards. She was a gentle spirit, funny at times and sad at other times.
She spoke proudly of her work and her love for her family.
I will always cherished the times we had together and how much fun she was to be with.

This is really sad news. I had been searching for her for some time now. We had lost touch after the birth of my 2nd child...we had talked on the phone a few times, but then life took us on different paths. She was such a lovely young woman and was a lot of fun to be around. She had a love of animals as do I...If her family reads this I wish you would contact me at k9mistress@gmail ... I would appreciate it! So sorry for the loss of your lovely daughter, sister, aunt and cousin. RIP my dear lost friend...Shari Dedick

It is said that every person is unique. Perhaps some are more unique than others. If that is true, Cheri was certainly one of those. I have many wonderful memories of Cheri, chief among them her smile and her laugh. Indeed, the first time I met her she captured my heart with her laugh. She could never fail to lift my spirits just by being with me and laughing.

We dined together many times and talked of many things. Once, on a fine November Sunday, we sat in the courtyard of a church and conversed for over two hours. Another time we sat on the grass in her backyard, while she was engaged in cutting flowers with her cat in her lap. Each time I talked with her I learned something new about her or some new way to think about life.

And so, on this day, the anniversary of her birth, I write to say that I will always remember her, that I will always appreciate the time and space she contributed to my life, and that I will always miss her.

Keep smiling and laughing, Cheri, my special friend.

Cheri was indeed a gentle and kind person. She spent one Christmas day with me and my family. We had a lovely time together. I have a beautiful picture of Cheri and will cherish it in memory of her.
I was so sad to hear that she had passed away.
Rest in peace Cheri.

What a lovely tribute to a truly beautiful spirit. I was one of the nurses who worked with Cheri and was very sad when I heard of her passing last year. I have a lovely picture of her taken at one of our retirement parties the year before her death which I would be happy to forward to her family. My e-mail address is: [email protected]
I hope that she is at peace and look forward to meeting with her again on another plane of existence.
