Kenneth Ketzel Obituary

Ketzel, Kenneth "Ken" John
68, was born on November 13, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Virginia Guthaus and Kenneth E. Ketzel. He graduated from Southern Illinois Univ. and chose Materials Management for his profession. His passions in life were golf, the outdoors, sports cars and cabinetry. The two loves of his life were his family and his dogs. He will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by Connie, his wife of 30 years; 2 children, Kevin (Judi), and Kim Ketzel and 3 spirited and loving grandchildren, Mikka, Cole and Kady. Also, 3 sisters, Karen Pate (Frankie), Kathy Huth (Bill), and Marilyn McGuire; and 1 brother, Jim Ketzel (Debbie). On April 10, 2011, after a year long battle with cancer, Ken passed peacefully in his home with Connie and Sarah by his side. A Celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 pm on May 15, 2011 at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Rd., Mesa, AZ. A reception will follow the service. We welcome family and friends. Golf attire encouraged. A Guestbook is available at www.LakeshoreMort.com.
