Betsy Rogers-Merrill Obituary
82, of Mesa, AZ. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away April 27, 2011 from incidents due to old age. She was born March 9, 1929 in Eagar, AZ. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her children, Charlene Sipe, Phoenix, Dan Rogers (Kris), Cascade, ID, Homer Rogers (Connie), Hank Rogers (Debbie), Caroline Skidmore, all of Eagar, Patrick Rogers (Cris), and brother, John Wiltbank (Cookie), both of Mesa. 36 Grandchildren, 66 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great, Great-Grandchildren. A Memorial/Viewing will be held May 5, 6-8 PM Meldrum's Mortuary in Mesa. A Viewing will also be held on May 6, 6-8 PM Burnham's Mortuary, Eagar. Funeral services will be May 7, 11 AM Amity Ward LDS Church, Eagar. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014

To your family, Sister Rogers-Merrill,
I want you all to know how dear your mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother is to me. She taught me the gospel. She encouraged me when weak. She nourished my testimony and helped it to grow. I must have been special to her, too, because, I know she was here last night. This is how I was prompted to google her name because she knew I wouldn't be strong enough to call and hear that she had passed. I know she's at peace and enjoying her rewards. I love her and I always will. I pray that you all are comforted by the gospel that she so dearly loved.
