Peter Conway Obituary

Conway, Peter McLean
69, of Phoenix passed away on April 26th, 2011. Pete was born Sept. 28th, 1941 in Massachusetts. He spent several years in California and New Mexico but considered Arizona his home. Mr. Conway worked as a Subcontractor for Collins Phoenix as well as a Design Engineer for Honeywell, from which he retired in 2005. Pete was well recognized for his extensive knowledge of firearms and knives and enjoyed collecting both. He loved four-wheeling and camping and was an active member of the NRA and Knife Rights organizations. He leaves behind 2 sons, William and McLean, daughter, Lynn, her spouse, Daniel, three grandchildren, as well as many great friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Pete was always an encourager and friend. We first met in 1970 at Sperry in Phoenix when I hired into the Design group. He had a knack for helping others and was considered to be a knowledge expert by his coworkers.
