Lewis Gregory Obituary
Lewis E. Gregory, 93, of Youngtown, AZ, passed away April 30, 2011. He was born in Lewis, KS, and was a farmer and livestockman for many years in Spearville, KS. He retired to Youngtown, AZ in 1968 and worked as a Supervisor for Hydroculture, Inc. in Glendale, AZ. He served as a Sgt. in the U.S. Army during WW2, and was wounded at the Battle of the Bulge. Surviving is his wife, Phyllis; step-children, Mark (wife Alicia), Larry (wife Caryl), Claudia, and Lee. Also, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Lewis enjoyed hunting and camping, and traveling our beautiful country. Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Friday at Youngtown United Methodist Church, 113th , & Alabama Ave., Youngtown, AZ. Visitation will be from 12 to 1PM at the Church. Burial with Military Honors will be at 10:30AM Monday, May 9, 2011 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix,
AZ. Memorials may be made to the AZ State Braille and Talking
Book Library, 1030 N. 32nd St., Phoenix, AZ 85008. Advantage Golden Door Chapel, Youngtown, AZ is in charge of arrangements.
