Kelly, Phyllis (Bauer)
63, of Phoenix passed away on April 29, 2011. Born on July 13, 1947 to Paul Bauer and Dorothy DesJean in Indianapolis, IN. Graduate of Xavier High School and NAU. Long time employee of the City of Phoenix dedicating many years to both children and adults with special needs. Her smile, sense of humor, and famous appetizers could light up a room. Survivors include her husband, Marc Kelly and son Marc Kelly (Erica), Son in Law Greg Soza, Sisters Susan Erie (Len), Jeanne Bauer, Brothers Tom Bauer (Pat), Jim Bauer (Jo), and Richard Bauer. Grandchildren Bronson, Monica, Roxy, and Stacy.
Many neices and nephews. Preceded in death by daughter Stacy Soza. Services 4 PM, Wednesday May 4, 2011 at Brophy Chapel. Contributions to Hospice of the Valley or Special Olympics.

I was so sad to hear of Phyllis' passing as each time I saw her she was full of energy and life. I will always remember Phyllis as a Champion for Special Olympics AZ. Whatever the City of Phoenix or SOAZ asked, Phyllis answered with unwavering loyalty and dedication. She will be missed!

Marc and family; I will always charish the times that Phyllis and I had together at Special Olympic functions, or at the many lunches she and I had together.
