Orville Whitmer Obituary

Whitmer, Orville David
83, passed away on 4-30-2011. In 1960 Orv and Jeanette moved their family from Minneapolis to Phoenix where Orv owned Arizona Transport Refrigeration. He was active in Rotary, Elks Lodge 335, Disabled Veterans, American Legion and The Salvation Army. He will be greatly missed. His wife of 54 years, Jeanette and daughter Valerie Krob predeceased him. He is survived by wife Marilyn, sons Andy Elmer, Curtis, Brian, Tim, Wade and Trent Whitmer and daughters Diane Sieveland (Mark), Pamela Wilson (Harvey), Lorna Garrard (Scott), and stepdaughter Kate Potthast (Robert), many grand and great grandchildren and countless friends. Viewing Thursday, 5-5, 7- 9pm, Funeral Friday 5-6, 1pm, Interment Friday 5-6, 2:30pm at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley, Reception Friday 5-6, 4pm at The Salvation Army 6010 W. Northern. Donations to The Salvation Army PO Box 6000, Glendale, 85301.
